Firefighter Brian Rehnberg Annual Scholarship for Fire Science

Fire Science / EMT – Awarded to an applicant pursuing a degree or certificate in Fire Science. If no Fire Science students have applied, award may be given to a student within the EMT program Preference is given to active firefighters within the North Park and Cherry Valley departments. Secondary preference given to those within Winnebago County and Boone County. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative high school or RVC GPA of 2.0. Applicant may be a new or returning student registered for a minimum of 6 credit hours. Applicant must demonstrate financial need by completing the financial aid process through the Rock Valley College Financial Aid Office, or through other means made available to the RVC Foundation staff.
