Lemuette is the artist name of Kari McDonald, a local Printmaker who took studio art classes at RVC and then went on to Northern Illinois University to receive her BFA in Printmaking. This art form is special and she wants to encourage more artistic students to pursue it and continue on in their art career – hopefully adding to the number of printmakers in and from Rockford. This scholarship was created to promote printmaking and successful art students by helping reduce the cost of a college degree. Kari hopes you find a bit of peace and creative inspiration with the funds from this scholarship!
