Ken Meadows was an honors student in the Rock Valley College Aviation Maintenance Technology Program. In March 2000, Ken tragically died in an automobile accident while riding with another AVM student as they left class. Ken loved aviation and had passed his FAA certification as an Air Frame Mechanic. He was a licensed private pilot, belonging to the Experimental Aircraft Association, and dreamed of owning a small airport.

Kenneth Meadows ELGIN, IL – Kenneth ’’Mutt’’ Meadows, 37, of Elgin, Ill. died in an automobile accident in Rockford, Ill., Friday, March 24, 2000. Mr. Meadows was born Dec. 28, 1962, the son of George and Marian Isaacs Meadows. Survivors include his wife, Angela; his parents, George and Marian Meadows; a sister, Frances Husmann and her husband, Kip, of Kansas; two brothers, George ’’Cy’’ Meadows of Missouri and William Meadows and his wife, Karyn, of California; four nephews, Ben, Kevin and Tom Husmann and Devin Meadows; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
