OBITUARY
CHRISTOPHER LEE PEPPERS, 25 “POOKIE, BABYHEAD” ROCKFORD-Christopher Lee Peppers, 25, of Rockford became an Angel Monday, June 20, 2011. Born Nov. 16, 1985, in Rockford, the son of Jerry and Lisa (Pyzynski) Peppers. Graduated from Auburn High School, Class of 2004. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Chicago. Employed as an independent filmmaker. He enjoyed playing guitar, wakeboarding, skate boarding, fishing, golfing and basketball. Avid Chicago Bears, Cubs and Bulls fan. He was a competitive runner for many charities. Chris was a very caring person for his family and friends. Survivors include parents; brothers, Jon and Jeff Peppers; loving girlfriend, Roxanne Carrington; maternal grandfather, John Pyzynski; paternal grandmother, Elsie Peppers; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his best four legged friends, Woof, Brix and Wallis. Predeceased by maternal grandmother, Carolyn Pyzynski; paternal grandfather, Doyle Peppers; and special friend, Eric Flynn. The family wishes to thank the University of Chicago oncology team, Dr. Odenike and OSF St. Anthony oncology and ambulatory care. Special thanks to Rubik Steel for everything they did.
