This scholarship is in memory of Dave and Julie’s mother, Lora G. Anderzon, and their Aunts, Janice Anderzon and Joanne “Jo” Conger, all of whom were nurses.

• Lora Anderzon was born July 31, 1934, in Quincy, Massachusetts. Lora was a graduate of Malden High School in Malden, Massachusetts and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in Boston.

• Janice Anderzon and her twin sister, Jo, were born August 15, 1933 in Rockford, Illinois. Janice and Jo graduated from Rockford East High School in 1951. Janice then attended Augustana Hospital School of Nursing, Chicago, IL for her RN, Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois for her BSN, and finally, Syracuse University in New York for her MSN. Janice was a clinical associate professor at UW-Madison School of Nursing from 1964 – 1996.

• Jo graduated from Augustana Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago in 1955, Augustana College in Rock Island, IL in 1957 with her BSN, and Syracuse University in New York in 1964 with her MSN. She went on to teach nursing students at the Swedish American Hospital School of Nursing in Rockford, IL, and was a clinical associate professor at UW-Madison School of Nursing from 1964-1991.
